The BTC/crypto cycle major top did NOT occur in 2023. 2023 was a recovery year off the Nov-2022 FTX-collapse bottom (~$15.5k); BTC rose through 2023 and closed the year around $42k, still far below the prior $69k ATH — i.e. no cycle peak was made in 2023.
BTC did not exceed its prior all-time high until March 5, 2024 (>$69,000), the first record since November 2021 — confirming the major cycle top fell OUTSIDE calendar year 2023 (the cycle peak came in 2024/2025, not 2023).
