Ethereum's 2023 range was roughly $1,200-$2,400 (high near $2,400 around the April 2023 Shapella upgrade), closing the year near $2,300 - nowhere near a cycle top.
ETH's cycle top / ATH was ~$4,878 on Nov 10, 2021 (some sources cite $4,815 Nov 9), roughly double 2023's high. That 2021 ATH was not exceeded until Aug 24, 2025 ($4,953.73) - so no cycle top printed in 2023 (2023's high did not even surpass the prior 2021 peak).
