At its June 11–12, 2024 FOMC meeting the Fed unanimously held the federal funds target range at 5.25%–5.50% (7th consecutive hold). No policy-rate change.
At its June 13–14, 2024 meeting the BOJ kept the uncollateralized overnight call rate at around 0–0.1% (no rate change). It decided (8-1) to reduce JGB purchases 'thereafter' but deferred the detailed reduction plan to the next (July 31) meeting — so no rate/stance change was implemented at the June meeting itself.
